How to Redeem Roblox Codes (Promo Codes, Gift Cards & In-Game Codes)

The three kinds of Roblox codes

  • Promo codes unlock free avatar items. Redeem them at roblox.com/promocodes.
  • Gift card PINs add credit to your account for Robux or Premium. Redeem them at roblox.com/redeem.
  • In-game codes are made by experience creators and are entered inside that experience, usually from a “Codes” or Twitter-bird button.

How to redeem a Roblox promo code or gift card

  1. Copy the code. Copy the promo code or gift card PIN exactly. Codes are case-sensitive, so use a copy button when one is available.
  2. Open the official redeem page. Go to roblox.com/promocodes for promo codes or roblox.com/redeem for gift cards, in a web browser.
  3. Log in to your Roblox account. Make sure you are logged in to the account that should receive the item or credit.
  4. Paste and redeem. Paste the code in the box and press Redeem. You will see a success message.
  5. Check your inventory or balance. Items appear in Avatar → Inventory. Gift card credit appears in your account balance and can be spent on Robux or Premium.

Redeeming on mobile (Android & iPhone)

Open your phone’s web browser (Chrome or Safari), go to the redeem page above and log in. Promo codes can’t be typed into the Roblox app itself, but items you redeem in the browser show up in the app straight away.

How to redeem in-game codes

  1. Launch the experience the code belongs to.
  2. Look for a Codes, Shop or Settings button, or a Twitter/X bird icon.
  3. Type the code exactly as written and press Redeem or Enter.

Code not working? Try this

  • Check spelling and capitals — codes are case-sensitive.
  • Check the expiry — many codes only last for one event. See our list of active and expired codes.
  • Already redeemed? Each promo code works once per account, and each gift card PIN works once in total.
  • Wrong account? Log out and back in to the account you meant to use.
  • Still stuck? Contact Roblox Support from the official Roblox website.
